Sometimes it's just not practical to pop in to get a Spray tan.  Doll face also offers at home tanning products.  These are especially good if you prefer to tan in the comfort of your own home.  Or if you need to top up your tan.  
For a tan that develops in 2-6 hours (leave on for up to 6 hours for a deeper tan) Doll Face offers the Violet based Tanning Foam.   This amazing foam is in a Violet based solution.  Violet will keep ALL of the orange tones away!  Goes on smooth and not too sticky.  Apply with the tanning mit.  
Upsides of tanning at home:  You can double or triple coat the areas you wish.  Apply whenever you like,  easy to do top ups.
Downside of tanning at home:  It's hard to reach your back,  can sometimes go streaky if your new to it,  can over tan your hands, can be messy.

 Can I tan while I'm Pregnant?  How do I know I if I am allergic?
Many questions surround people before there first spray tan.  In this post I will share some common FAQ's and put your mind at ease.  If you do have ANY concerns, please contact us and we can help you as best we can.

CAN I GET A SPRAY TAN WHILE I AM PREGNANT?
Yes!  You totally can!  The tan solution is non toxic.  It will not harm you or the baby while pregnant.  We can suggest however to minimise the over spray from being inhaled, to wear a nose plug while tanning is in progress.  This is not necessary, but you may prefer it.
CAN I TAN WHILE BREASTFEEDING?
Yes!  We strongly suggest that you cover your breasts and nipples during the tan.  And refrain from feeding until you have showered and rinsed the tan from your skin.
HOW WILL I KNOw IF I AM ALLERGIC TO THE TAN?
Allergies can happen with any product you apply to your skin.  It is highly advisable if you have sensitive skin to request a "Patch Test" 48 hours before your tan.  The tanning expert will spray a small section behind your knees and or your back to test the solution first.  A reaction may occur immediately or upto 24 hours after your patch test.  The reaction may present itself in the way of Hives (itchy welt looking spots), redness, itchy, or blisters.  If this occurs we strongly recommend you do not use any product that contains DHA.
WHAT DO I WEAR DURING A SPRAY TAN?
We suggest your wear (or not wear) what you will feel comfortable in.  It is a scary thought to stand in front of a stranger almost naked!  For the best tan results it is suggested that you have your hair tied up and in a hair net (especially if you are blonde) and a disposable G-String which is provided.  A lot of people also wear their own underwear.  Just be mindful that if you are going to the beach that your tanning underwear will not leave tan lines visible when in togs!  It is very common for people to be naked during their tan also.  So don't be shy!  We have seen hundreds of boobs and every set is beautiful!
HOW LONG WILL MY SPRAY TAN LAST?
You can expect your tan to last approximately 5-10 days.  This is largely dependant on what your activities are during this time.  For example, if you are swimming during this time, the tan will wear off quicker than if you were doing normal everyday things.  You can keep your tan looking topped up using the Doll Face Tan Extender lotion.   By applying this lotion everyday it will build up your tan and keep it looking fresh!  It can also be used alone to gradually build a sun kissed look.
